Adding and removing tax

To add tax: total = price × (1 + rate ÷ 100). To remove tax from a total: price = total ÷ (1 + rate ÷ 100). The tax amount is the difference.

Because you enter the rate yourself, this works for sales tax, VAT, GST or any similar percentage in any country.
