How the age calculator works

Choose a date of birth and the tool shows your exact age in years, months and days, plus the total number of days lived. By default it uses today’s date, and you can change the second date to see how old someone was or will be on any day.

This is handy for school and sports eligibility, forms, anniversaries and milestone planning. Months are counted as calendar months, so the result matches the way age is normally stated on official documents.

All calculations happen in your browser. If you are logged in, the result is saved to your History, which you can delete at any time. Otherwise nothing is sent or stored.
